In a major step toward expanding digital education and career access for young people, Emmanuel Mulbah Johnson has officially unveiled the MVP of CareerCatch, an innovative EdTech platform designed to support early-career job seekers and students across Africa and the global diaspora.
The Assistant Minister for Youth Development in Liberia and a graduate of the University of Chicago, Johnson brings a unique blend of public-sector leadership and global academic exposure to the initiative. His vision for CareerCatch is rooted in closing the gap between local talent and global opportunity by equipping young people with the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed in today’s competitive job market.
CareerCatch integrates AI-powered career tools that allow users to generate professional CVs, customized cover letters, vision boards, and interview preparation templates. These features are tailored to help young job seekers present themselves effectively and compete for opportunities both locally and internationally.
Beyond career preparation, the platform delivers robust academic support. Students from first grade through senior secondary school can access structured e-book summaries and study aids covering core subjects such as mathematics, science, literature, and history. Each subject includes key concepts, chapter summaries, review questions, and interactive quizzes—providing learners with a well-rounded digital learning experience.
The platform was spotlighted during a digital forum organized by Manevia alongside cybersecurity professionals. Speaking at the forum, Manevia’s CEO and U.S.-trained cybersecurity expert Emmanuel N. B. Flomo underscored the importance of secure digital infrastructure in education. He highlighted CareerCatch’s commitment to protecting user data and ensuring a safe, trusted learning environment as a core strength of the platform.
Johnson’s journey from concept to MVP reflects a deep commitment to addressing structural challenges in emerging markets—particularly limited access to quality education and career guidance. By identifying these gaps and responding with a technology-driven solution, CareerCatch aims not only to prepare young people for the future of work, but also to contribute meaningfully to community development.
As CareerCatch moves closer to full launch, Emmanuel Mulbah Johnson’s work stands as a powerful example of how innovation, leadership, and purpose can converge to create lasting social impact.
